  • A warm sweater or fleece to ensure comfort in cooler weather.

Yes, a fishing licence is required to fish in New Zealand's freshwater bodies. You can purchase a One Day Non-Resident Licence for $38 or a One Day Resident Licence for $25. Licences can be conveniently added during checkout when booking with us.

If you already have a licence, simply show it to us before you get on the boat.

Yes, you can keep your catch as long as it meets legal size and bag limits. We’ll help you clean and prepare the fish for transport. 

Safety is always our priority. If the weather conditions are unsuitable for your trip, we’ll either reschedule for another day or provide a full refund.

Our boat can accommodate up to six guests per trip. A minimum of two guests is required for the trip to proceed. If you are the only person booked for a trip, you have the option to pay for two spots and enjoy the full experience exclusively to yourself.

Absolutely! We specialize in creating custom fishing adventures tailored to your preferences. Whether it’s a private trip for your group or a special fishing experience, let us know, and we’ll plan the perfect day.

Trips will depart from either the Wanaka Marina in Wanaka, the Frankton Marina in Queenstown, or the Lake Hawea boat ramp, depending on the lake selected for your booking.

3 hour trips are available at 8am to 11am, 1pm to 4 pm and 6pm to 9pm in summer (1st December until 1st March). 6 hour trips run from 8am to 2pm and 3pm to 9pm in summer (1st December until 1st March). Custom trips can be scheduled at a time that suits you.

We recommend booking in advance to secure your spot, but we can often accommodate last-minute bookings depending on availability. Contact us to check!
