At Catch a Fish, every charter is more than just a day on the water — it’s part of our promise to protect the places we love. We believe in creating shared value, where tourism benefits not only our guests but also the environment and community. That means running a state-of-the-art electric trolling motor powered by solar, so we fish in silence without fumes or anchoring damage, and partnering with local bakeries and restaurants so every trip also supports small businesses in Wānaka and Queenstown.

We’re also proud to be Impact Partners of Love Wānaka and Love Queenstown, committing 1% of our proceeds to projects that restore native forests, improve lake health, protect wildlife, and safeguard ecosystems for the future. On top of that, we’re a carbon neutral fishing charter, offsetting the emissions we can’t yet eliminate through certified programmes.
